Chris has had a very difficult life. Chris was born with a chronic illness nineteen years ago. For someone who has struggled with illness his entire life, Chris is a very optimistic young man and has always tried to have a positive outlook on life. One thing that has always helped him through tough times is his dog. Chris has a yellow lab, Gunner, who always stands by his side. Whenever Chris meets a new person, his first question is always “Do you have a dog?” or “What is the name of your dog?”
Chris applied to The Dream Factory over a year ago with the hopes of meeting Bruce Springsteen. Springsteen is a man that Chris deeply admires and Chris has always listened to Springsteen’s music. “Merry Christmas Baby” is a special song for Chris. This particular song helps him fall asleep at night during the holiday season.
The Dream Factory has been trying to reach out to Springsteen, but unfortunately, has not been able to get a response. Meanwhile, The Dream Factory has provided Chris with a laptop, software, and a desk for the visually impaired.
If Chris ever gets to meet Springsteen his first question to him would be “Do you have a dog?”
